West Bay Builders LLC (“West Bay Builders,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a general contractor based in Oldsmar, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, our quote request form, and the phone calls, emails, and text messages we exchange with you.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, call, email, or text us, we collect what you choose to provide, such as:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your city, neighborhood, or project address
• Project details, including project type, budget range, timeline, and any photos or documents you send
• The content of your messages and calls with us
• Billing and payment records if you become a customer
• Your text messaging consent choice, and the date and time you gave it

Information collected automatically. When you visit this website, we and our analytics provider collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, approximate location (city or region), browser and device type, the pages you view, the links you click, and the site that referred you. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 5.

3. Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages from West Bay Builders, we use your mobile number to send service-related texts about your quote request, appointments, project updates, and invoices. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Full program details are in the SMS section of our Terms & Conditions.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, text messaging opt-in data, or text messaging consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing categories described in Section 4 exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, other than the messaging providers and mobile carriers that deliver our text messages on our behalf.

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of buying anything from us. Opting out of texts does not affect your quote or your project; we will reach you by phone or email instead.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers. Companies that work for us under confidentiality obligations, such as website hosting, analytics, email, messaging delivery, scheduling, accounting, and payment processing providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Your project. If you hire us, we share the details needed to do the work with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and permitting and inspection authorities.
• Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of West Bay Builders, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers. If the company is sold, merged, or reorganized, your information may transfer to the successor, which will remain bound by this Privacy Policy for information collected under it.
• With your consent. For any other purpose, only when you direct us to.

As stated in Section 3, none of these categories include sharing mobile numbers or text messaging consent for anyone’s marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to measure traffic and usage. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects the technical information described in Section 1. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work.

This website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

6. How long we keep information

We keep quote requests and correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business records. We keep customer project, contract, payment, and warranty records for as long as required by law and for the period in which claims related to the work could arise. We keep records of text messaging consent and opt-outs for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on this website and access limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

• Text messages. Reply STOP to any text from us to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
• Email. Reply to any email and ask us to stop, and we will.
• Access, correction, and deletion. Contact us using the details in Section 12 to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will honor your request unless we need to keep the information to complete your project, maintain required business records, or comply with the law. We may need to verify your identity first.
• Analytics. Use the opt-out options described in Section 5.

We will not treat you differently for making any of these choices.

9. Children

This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and our text messaging program is limited to people 18 and older. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other sites

This website may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before giving them your information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. Changes apply from the date they are posted.
